Day by Day

1. Day 1

   Arrival - Uga Riva, Negombo

   Transfer from the airport to Uga Riva, a boutique heritage manor on the Negombo coast. Evening walk along the beach. Overnight at Uga Riva.

2. Day 2

   Negombo at Leisure

   A free day to enjoy Uga Riva's grounds and pool, or an optional boat ride along the Hamilton Canal. Overnight at Uga Riva.

3. Day 3

   Negombo - Uga Ulagalla, Anuradhapura

   Drive north (approximately 2.5 hours) to Uga Ulagalla, a former ancestral estate set across 58 acres of paddy fields and forest, each villa with its own private pool. Overnight at Uga Ulagalla.

4. Day 4

   Anuradhapura Sacred City - Mihintale

   A full day exploring the ancient sacred city, followed by an afternoon visit to Mihintale. Overnight at Uga Ulagalla.

5. Day 5

   Anuradhapura - Uga Halloowella, Hatton

   Drive south into tea country (approximately 4-4.5 hours, via Kandy, with a stop at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic) to Uga Halloowella, an intimate estate stay above Hatton. Overnight at Uga Halloowella.

6. Day 6

   Hatton Tea Country

   A day among the tea estates - a factory tour and tasting, and a walk through the surrounding hills with views over the Castlereagh and Maussakelle reservoirs. Overnight at Uga Halloowella.

7. Day 7

   Hatton - Uga Ghiri, Ella

   Drive into the hills toward Ella (approximately 3 hours) to Uga Ghiri, one of the newest high-end mountain retreats in the hill country. Overnight at Uga Ghiri.

8. Day 8

   Ella: Nine Arch Bridge & Little Adam's Peak

   Visit the Nine Arch Bridge and take an easy walk up Little Adam's Peak. Overnight at Uga Ghiri.

9. Day 9

   Ella - Uga Chena Huts, Yala

   Drive south (approximately 2.5 hours) via Wellawaya to Uga Chena Huts, an ultra-private cluster of huts between dune and jungle on the edge of Yala National Park. Afternoon jeep safari. Overnight at Uga Chena Huts.

10. Day 10

    Yala National Park Safari

    Dawn jeep safari through Yala Block One. Overnight at Uga Chena Huts.

11. Day 11

    Yala - Uga Prāva, Tangalle

    Drive along the southern coast (approximately 2 hours) to Uga Prāva, a minimalist oceanfront property on the Tangalle coast. Overnight at Uga Prāva.

12. Day 12

    Tangalle Leisure - Rekawa Turtle Walk

    A slow day on the beach, with an optional guided evening visit to Rekawa Beach. Overnight at Uga Prāva.

13. Day 13

    Departure

    Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport (approximately 3 hours).
