1. Day 1

   Arrival - Negombo

   Transfer from the airport to Negombo. Overnight in Negombo.

2. Day 2

   Negombo - Millennium Elephant Foundation - Kandy

   Drive toward Kandy (approximately 3.5 hours), stopping at the Millennium Elephant Foundation in Kegalle. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in the afternoon. Overnight in Kandy.

3. Day 3

   Kandy: Peradeniya Gardens & Kandy Lake

   A gentle family day - the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya in the morning, a walk around Kandy Lake in the afternoon. Overnight in Kandy.

4. Day 4

   Kandy - Ella

   Drive directly into the hill country to Ella (approximately 4 hours), keeping the journey warm and comfortable rather than adding an overnight in the colder hills. Overnight in Ella.

5. Day 5

   Ella: Nine Arch Bridge & Little Adam's Peak

   An easy family walk to the Nine Arch Bridge and up Little Adam's Peak. Overnight in Ella.

6. Day 6

   Ella - Udawalawe

   Drive south (approximately 2 hours) via Wellawaya. Afternoon jeep safari through Udawalawe National Park, followed by the Elephant Transit Home to watch the calves being bottle-fed. Overnight in Udawalawe.

7. Day 7

   Udawalawe - Bentota

   Dawn safari, then transfer to the south coast at Bentota (approximately 3 hours). Overnight in Bentota.

8. Day 8

   Bentota Water Sports Day

   A day of family-friendly water activities - jet ski, banana boat and calm swimming beach. Overnight in Bentota.

9. Day 9

   Departure

   Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport (approximately 1.5 hours).
