Day by Day

10 Nights / 11 Days

1. Day 1

   Arrival - Negombo

   Transfer from the airport to Negombo. Overnight in Negombo.

2. Day 2

   Negombo - Mahoora Wilpattu

   Drive to Wilpattu National Park (approximately 2 hours). Check in to your Mahoora tented camp, Sri Lanka's largest and least crowded national park. Afternoon jeep safari. Overnight at Mahoora Wilpattu.

3. Day 3

   Wilpattu Dawn Safari - Anuradhapura

   Dawn safari, then transfer to Anuradhapura (approximately 1.5 hours). Afternoon visit to the Sri Maha Bodhi and Ruwanwelisaya Dagoba. Overnight in Anuradhapura.

4. Day 4

   Anuradhapura - Sigiriya

   Drive south (approximately 1.5-2 hours) via the Dambulla Cave Temple. Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress in the afternoon. Overnight in Sigiriya.

5. Day 5

   Sigiriya - Kandy

   Drive to Kandy (approximately 3 hours). Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Overnight in Kandy.

6. Day 6

   Kandy - Ella

   Drive into and across the highlands (approximately 4-4.5 hours). Visit the Nine Arch Bridge on arrival. Overnight in Ella.

7. Day 7

   Ella - Mahoora Udawalawe

   Drive south (approximately 2.5 hours) to your Mahoora tented camp bordering Udawalawe National Park. Afternoon jeep safari. Overnight at Mahoora Udawalawe.

8. Day 8

   Udawalawe Dawn Safari - Mahoora Yala

   Dawn safari, then transfer to your third Mahoora tented camp, this time bordering Yala National Park (approximately 2 hours). Afternoon jeep safari. Overnight at Mahoora Yala.

9. Day 9

   Yala Dawn Safari

   A dawn safari through Yala National Park, home to the world's highest recorded leopard density. Overnight at Mahoora Yala.

10. Day 10

    Yala - Galle

    Drive to the south coast (approximately 3 hours). Afternoon walking the ramparts of Galle Fort. Overnight in Galle.

11. Day 11

    Departure

    Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport (approximately 2.5 hours).
