Day by Day

10 Nights / 11 Days

1. Day 1

   Arrival - Negombo

   Transfer from the airport to Negombo. Overnight in Negombo.

2. Day 2

   Negombo - Sigiriya

   Drive north (approximately 3.5 hours) via the Dambulla Cave Temple. Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress in the afternoon. Overnight in Sigiriya.

3. Day 3

   Sigiriya - Kandy

   Drive to Kandy (approximately 3 hours). Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Overnight in Kandy.

4. Day 4

   Kandy - Ella

   Drive into and across the highlands (approximately 4-4.5 hours), stopping at a tea factory en route. Visit the Nine Arch Bridge on arrival. Overnight in Ella.

5. Day 5

   Ella Rock Full-Day Hike

   A longer, quieter alternative to Little Adam's Peak, through working tea estates with sweeping valley views. Overnight in Ella.

6. Day 6

   Ella - Yala

   Drive south (approximately 2.5 hours) via Wellawaya for an afternoon jeep safari through Yala National Park. Overnight near Yala.

7. Day 7

   Yala National Park Safari

   A second, dawn safari through Yala National Park. Overnight near Yala.

8. Day 8

   Yala - Ahangama

   Drive to Ahangama (approximately 2.5 hours). Afternoon surf lesson at one of the area's quieter breaks. Overnight in Ahangama.

9. Day 9

   Ahangama at Leisure

   A free day to keep surfing or relax on the beach. Overnight in Ahangama.

10. Day 10

    Ahangama - Galle

    Drive to Galle (approximately 30 minutes). Afternoon walking the ramparts of Galle Fort. Overnight in Galle.

11. Day 11

    Departure

    Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport (approximately 2.5 hours).
